​Welcome to Antrim Spring Farm. A historic venue with a modern twist. Located just outside of Greencastle PA. The farm is nestled into 10 acres of beautiful landscape, with late 18th century architecture. The Carriage House is a climate-controlled venue that is ideal for weddings and events of all kinds. The farm sets right off Williamsport Pike on the PA/MD line just a 2-minute drive to interstate 81, this means overnight accommodations are just a short drive away. History
History
Robert & Thomas Penn, relatives of William Penn, sold 140 acres to Andrew and Rebeka Miller on June 3, 1735. The Millers then built a log cabin where the stone house sits today. In 1774, William Berryhill (who served under General George Washington), purchased the land and built his "Plantation Mansion" on land he called, "Rich Bottom and Good Fruit". The foundation from the log cabin was used to construct the main house, and the logs are still used in the house today. The barn was built 27 years later in 1801. The farm's rich history dates back before the Revolutionay War. During the Revolutionay War, the farm was used as a meeting area for American soldiers. It was also the site where a confederate soldier was killed surrendering his sword to a Union officer at the end of the Civil War.
Farm
We also operate a small farm. Throughout the year we sell farm fresh eggs, and in the summer, we harvest fresh cut flowers for bouquets. Our produce varies from year to year as we are always adding more and trying new things. Antrim Spring Farm is also a member of the ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association). Coming in June the farm will also be home to Mini Highland Cows.
